About us
PERSONAL
We are not building huge factory with hundreds of lawyers where you will see the partner only at first meeting and when handing out an invoice. We aim to provide first-class legal services based on long-term personal relationships, while working with pleasant people and for pleasant people.
REGIONAL
We are based in Brno. We perceive Brno to be strategic crossroad allowing us to be easily available for clients in Prague, Vienna, Olomouc, Zlín, Ostrava, or Bratislava.
TRADITIONAL
We are no longer young enough to write it on the web; we will soon start third decade providing legal services to corporate clients and private investors.
HOW DO WE WORK?
We do not believe in general legal practice and we do not pretend that everybody is able to take care of everything. We dedicate teams of specialists in their fields for every project. When working on projects, we cooperate with notaries, investment or real property consultants, bankers, architects, or any other technical specialists. We are well aware of the fact that clients engage our services in order to achieve their defined business goals. We insist that our colleagues always make themselves be familiar with the client’s field of activities and its particularities. It is only understanding the client’s business operation, principles and objectives that enables us to address their matters in a truly efficient manner.

Our team
Languages: Czech, English and German
Education: Jan studied law at Masaryk University in Brno (2001) and European Law and International Comparative Law at the University of Gent (2004, LL.M.).
Experience: Jan is an experienced attorney with more than 20 years of experience in working on international projects and legislation for MPs in the Czech Parliament. He worked as a partner of PwC Legal and for the biggest Czech law firm Havel & Partners in Prague and Brno. He specialises in international projects in the field of mergers and acquisitions and corporate law, including transactions in the field of private equity and venture capital.
Long before social networks saw their rise, there was Jan. He knows about a million people who know the rest. He enjoys solving problems and building long-term relationships with interesting clients. The more challenging it seems, the better. He believes that it is important to have people around who are compatible.

Education: Lucie studied law at Masaryk University in Brno (2001), International Private Law Course at The Hague Academy of International Law (2001) and EC Competition Law and Economics for Competition Law at King’s College in London (MA, 2008).
Experience: Lucie is a skilled attorney-at-law. She has gained her experience by working for the international law firm Clifford Chance in Prague, independent practice, later as a partner of HVH Legal in Brno and as of 2016, she is a partner of HLADKY.LEGAL. She specialises in mergers and acquisitions, in real estate law and transactions, corporate and general commercial law.
Lucie enjoys literature (especially science fiction) and culture in general, nevertheless she can fall asleep at Hamlet performance or watching Batman at the cinema. She loves excel spreadsheets.

Education: Daniel studied history at Silesian University in Opava (2003) and law at Masaryk University in Brno (2007).
Experience: Daniel is an experienced attorney with almost 15 years of experience obtained in Brno-based law firms. He specialises in litigation, criminal law, corporate law and real property transactions, general commercial law, and labour law.
Daniel was once playing bass guitar in a punk band. In litigation, the counterparties are frightened that he could begin reciting their lyrics to them.

Education: Michaela studied history and literature at Masaryk University in Brno and law at Palacky University Olomouc.
Experience: Michaela is an experienced attorney, having worked for Brno-based law firms and for a major banking company. She specialises in real property law and real property transactions, litigation, family law, corporate law, and general commercial law.
Michaela loves four-legged boxers and handball owing to which she switches between living in Brno and Poland.

Education: Pavla graduated from the Brno Conservatory - piano, but because she thinks that music should be primarily a hobby and not a job, she also graduated in law at Masaryk University in Brno (2019).
Experience: Pavla focuses on real estate law and commercial law. As part of her previous practice in two Brno law firms, she also dealt with litigation, criminal law and administrative law.

Experience: As part of her practice, Michaela focuses mainly on transactions in the field of mergers and acquisitions, corporate consulting and consulting in the field of contract and real estate law and debt collection. Before joining HLADKY.LEGAL, she worked in a prominent Brno law firm. Michaela has a number of hobbies, in addition to living four-legged ones, for example traveling, painting and editing short films as an amateur. Michaela basically believes what you tell her, but she always double checks.

Praxe: Denisa je zkušenou advokátkou s více než 20 letou praxí. Specializuje se na smluvní právo, nemovitostní právo a transakce s nemovitostmi, oblast mezigeneračního transferu kapitálu a obecné obchodní a občanské právo. Široké zkušenosti má též v oblasti akvizic a prodejů společností a podniků a v korporátní oblasti.
Mimo kancelář můžete Denisu potkat v lese, kde se při běhání snaží najít odpovědi na všechny své otázky.
